If I remember a post correctly, (don't really want to go back through 39 pages of typing...) they said a servent in the bible is only a person who waits on tables and etc....then in that case the deacon was supposed to never preach, only wait on tables and elderly, Isn't that what steven and the 7 were appointed to do? But yet we jump on what a great sermon he preached. He didn't preach but only "testify" according to the logic in that mindset.
