absolutely puttin up a couple more stands on my lease west of mosinee this weekend, just another week, go girl, lol,dt

No, it does not.

And only those born after a certain year are required to take it at all.

I'm admitting age here but oh well...I didn't have to take a course but I did while living in TN. Went through it with a teenager I had taken under my wing. Figured, why not? The certification I received there is supposedly good in all 50 states.

We have stands EVERYWHERE. Things have changed alot since you were on the property. My tree stand hating uncle passed away a few years ago and he was the only one standing in our way for using them. We were stuck with ground blinds for years. The treestands have made a HUGE difference for us...especially for me.

I sit high atop a ridge just above the cabin. The deer come down this ridge like a highway crossing from one part of the cedar swamp to another. Its exciting! Especially when the neighbors drive the swamp.
