Top 5 for me:
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Clapton

Jonny Lang
Third Day

I know that is a mixed bag of tastes but it's my mixed bag.

Y'all aren't not going to believe my answer, and CC1 is going to say I am older than dirt...and I guess he's right...for once.

I was never into the groups you have listed. I'm a product of the 60s and my favorite bands were from Liverpool...

The Beatles, Dave Clark Five, The Searchers, Gerry & The Pacemakers, The Moody Blues, Billy J. Kramer & The Dakotas, Peter & Gordon, Freddie and The Dreamers, Chad & Jeremy...

Ahhhh...now that was music!!

I bought the CD. Its not bad. Whats funny is while the checkbook holders won't support bands with a different sound our young people as well as others are flocking these artists concerts and buying up their CD's. Just a little support would go along way.

Just offer the bldg. and some utilities and don't go if you don't like it. My band played 3 times at my old church. Two people got the H.G. Pastor still was against it. Stupid.

Yeah, some of you folks are showing your age (jk)! Although, my daughter is 20, and the Beatles are her favorite band.

I guess you wouldn't have a secular band at your church though

Not sure ... they've done coffee houses and stuff ... I know it's slowed down for him ... so I'm not sure if they's were they ... Yes they are Christian.

AMEN!!! The group that I am involved with was recently turned down for a (UPC) event, because they are "hard rock". These people don't have a clue what hard rock is! And our young people are listening to the same stuff anyways! Generally bought for them by their parents! I don't get it!
