And how many conferences can you go to where the preacher does entire sermons based on how "he feels" about things, before you want to hear something out of the WORD of God!

I will tell you that the last time I preached at a conference I stayed in the Word of God only...

I have heard that more that one of the AMC sermons made a few there feel like repenting of sins they did not partake of!

My time and money would have been better spent on either one of these other confs. At least I would of heard some good preaching.

So you are saying the preaching at GC is not/was not good?

Not all history is good.
Wonder how many you could find that was glad they were on the Titanic?
Think they enjoyed it? Watching so much death.
My money would have been better spent on either the east or west coast conf. thatn GC.
At least I would have heard some good preaching.

Again we hear the same thing. What is was wrong with the preaching at GC?

I think that is what he is saying..
there was probably no preaching against rings, watches, beards, women wearing red, and probably no preaching on the supreme authority of the Pastor...
probably just stuff out of scriptures explaining what they really mean and what the Lord was saying...
probably....

You can stir that pot all you want, (IMO) I'd like some good answers on why preaching from the Bible, on Biblical principals, isn't considered "good preaching".

You are 100% right.
I think some of these guys would rather be beat up from the pulpit than built up. I just don't understand that thinking, but that is all that happens at their conferences.
