I really adore some of the handmade gift ideas at Martha Stewart Kids, and Familyfun.com One year I did the "Quiet Book" and the Winter hats from MSK, and they turned out great!

What about everyone else? Where do you shop? Do you shop online? Do you shop sales? Do you buy everything in one place or go from store to store finding that perfect something....????
I have already started, I love Christmas time!!
Shopping for my kids in Uganda has been so much fun. I have 30 trunks in my garage with each childs name on it, they are all about full.
We are getting each of them a bicycle also.
My gift this year is a new baby to arrived Dec. 25TH, his room is ready!

That is so awesome! How close to Christmas will you be there with the kids? Are you going to help deliver the gifts?

Of course I still bought her something except one year when we were in home missions and that year there just was no money.

My best birthday was when I shopped for myself.

I found 3 items I really wanted,

I walked in my home, walked to my son and showed him a book. I said Happy Birthday to me.. You owe me $15.00.

I then walked over to my daugter, showed her a lotion set form Bath and body, and said.. Happy Birthday to me, you owe me 17.95..

Then onto my husband and repeated the same (but with a higher price.. )

Best Birthday I ever had.. I got just what I wanted...

Hmmm.... I think on the 9th I will do it again!!!! heheheh

Oh Yea, we are talking about Christmas...
