Like you I have two sons and a daughter. When my sons married I was sad for their leaving but glad for their going. [ mixed feelings ] But a daughter is different. You were the "man" in her life and now some "whippersnapper" [sorry D...] has come and taken her away! I had to fight some real "blues" for awhile after my daughter left. No, your feelings are entirely natural but I suspect, like us all, you will have to swallow the lump in your throat and carry on!
