Does PSR stand for "Pretty Silly Reason" for leaving?

This thread has not much going for it to start with... if nothing else, as an elder and out of respect for what he has built for God in his city, he DESERVES SOME RESPECT.

I find it strange that on here, when a man takes a 'stand for his convictions', just because they are different than ours, he get 'knocked down' and basically, even though he's an elder, made a mockery of...

Besides, if he wants to get out of an organization that is doing so little that putting an ad on TV indicates forward movement, go for it!!

And yeah, a lot of young ministers who 'think for themselves' have chosen to 'revere' Bro. Morton as one poster put it... I guess it DOES depend on your crowd!

Obviously I am not Sandra but I can answer wholeheartedly that I think the UPC is moving forward!

As I have repeatedly posted I think the disunity has been growing for years with the UPC being pulled in two different directions.

Those who are very conservative leaving will bring them unity and the UPC unity.

Amen to this post. I too believe this. As too the bolded parts though - should you really use those two together?

So true...we had a preacher, a African-American, who rocked the house!!! His first sermon was on the blood of Jesus. Wow, what a depth of knowledge! But...guess what, cause of the color of his skin, our pastor received a lot of flack from certain " holier than thou's ". So, yes it does go both ways. Bless you RevRandy

You are implying that VM made fun of a man and demeaned his message simply because he was black??!
