I don't really care who goes or not and things will probably change several times before it is all said and done... But if the above is true, they already have it going on.... Music, preaching and a missionary... lol

I don't think that VM and the gang are going with the group in Tulsa.
They are having their own events, camps, and even fellowship meetings now. these are seperate from the other group.
The other group had their own youth camp called "Freedom week"

The *yawn* is because the topic is old . . .
The buh bye is to VM . . . and whomever else is leaving the UPCI.
I don't really care to be honest.
In the immortal words of the former AZ Cardinals football coach, Dennis Green (definite paraphrase):
They're who we thought they were . . . what we thought they were. We've known them for a while now and the cons are who we thought they were! If you wanna crown'em, crown'em! But they are who we thought they were . . .
(Look up Dennis Green or that phrase on YouTube if you haven't heard that before. Warning . . . depending on feed, may have one or more naughty words.)

My family has known Bro. Morton since before he was even married. So I have mixed feelings about him. On the one hand I love him for what he has stood for (the TRUTH as far as salvation) and well....he is just Bro. Morton. I was going through a rough time when I was a teenager and he came to our church and held a revival and it was a major turning point for me. On the other hand I also remember when I was in San Jose our choir went on tour and one of our stops was going to be at Bro. Morton's church. We were given a long list (for the ladies) of what we could and could not wear. What stands out in my mind was we definately could not wear ankle strap shoes or heaven forbid clear lipgloss!!
Forward twenty years and I was (still am) living in Arizona. Bro. Morton came to RG church in Glendale and our family and many members of our church went to hear him preach. I remember he got on everything from reading the comics to golfing! Which was funny to me because......well this is AZ and most of the UPC preachers here golf! In fact Bro. Morton even made the comment, "oops I think I'm stepping on some toes here". Up until the golf statement there were resounding amens, after that you could hear a pin drop!! He made my pastor at the time (whom I consider conservative) so mad about the golf statment that the next service "he called brother Morton an idiot" for preaching about Golf and said to show unity he was going to allow wedding rings ( which was a HUGE NO NO in our church). It was his way to act out against Bro. Morton. So to say that he doesnt carry any weight in what he does or says, I would say is incorrect. My Pastor acted out against him and did a major change in our own standards.
The funny out come of our own change is that almost immediately lots of folks put on their wedding rings and I swear two weeks later he was yelling at us (Pastor) for putting on our wedding rings! We couldn't keep up with the you can do this, you can't do that merry go round..... depending on whom he was lining up with or going against at the moment.
Glad to be gone, glad to be free in Jesus

Is NM staying in the ark?? Funny, he played a great shooting guard alongside me in high school basketball, while pops preached away at it in Fresno. VM despite all what has been said, is a good man.
