It's not that "it's so bad" It's just that it is in bad taste. 99.9% of people who read this are going to think it is a racial slur. You might not have intended for it to be that, but that's how some are going to take it.
Next time, you might try wording it a little bit different.

line number 2 - surely not
line 3- a question
line 4- outside of the west, it is my belief that most of the country is still opposed to inner racial dating/ marriage based on what I have seen and heard. the reason I said " i want your HONEST opinoin is, I think many people wont admit that they are not for this .

Next time, why not start the thread with a question maybe like:
"What do you think of interacial marriage?" They might not shoot you for that.
