I keep telling them that there is only so much storage space in the luggage compartments on the bus. There are going to be about 35 other people besides our family on this bus.

They have gone back into their room to try and narrow down what they are taking to the bare minimum.

Why do two teenage girls need to take 18 pairs of shoes for three days?

I told them to narrow it down to four pair of shoes each... and you'd think I'd asked them to swim across the ocean or something......
Been there, done that, and yeah - they acted the same way!

Laundry - because you have to do that, then iron and put away!

Good Tuesday AM...to all....our inspection is done...I am sure he was able to come to the amount we are needing...I hope this is the last time we need to refi our house...so much paper work.

My mom is having cataract surgery today and I got elected to take her...I am making my hubby go with me! She thinks he is the greatest SIL(I agree) so it will help a lot having him there!

Busy day again today...lots to do and little time...

Love and blessings to you all!

I hope all goes well with your Mom, I know how hard it can be for you to go down there and be with her. So glad Dad is going with you!

Hey, I talked to my Dad(biological one) and he said that he ran into your husband finally and introduced himself...and to think they went to the same HS and have lived in the same town, mostly and just met!

I am cleaning one last bathroom today, getting the guest room (2nd son's room) ready and making a roast beef and all that goes with it...my hubby will be home tonight!!!! I'm trying to decide on a dessert...I sure don't need it, but it might be nice to have....anyone have any ideas?

Well it is pumpkin pie time....or pecan....or chocolate is always good, now me would always for a lemon anything!

My house is clean too and it feels so good...now I need to invite some people over before it gets messed up again(I want to have people in my home again)...you would think that with just the two of us in this big house it would never get dirty or messy...it must be those little elves that come in the night to make work for me!

We are going up to Portland to be at our sons, and so we are making sweet potato casserole, dressing (stuffing) and R's very special and wonderful deviled eggs or as we like to call them angel eggs.

Wednesday is my day to volunteer so that takes a big chunk out of the middle of my day...and I am usually tired from running up and down stairs and cleaning and doing whatever needs to be done!

I am making pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving...I was thinking of something special for tonight.

I love your sweet potato casserole and will be making it as well for our Thanksgiving dinner...it's the best!

I'm glad to hear you are going to your son's house, I'm sure you'll have a great time!

I don't do anything anymore but stay home and care for the kids and house, I'm ready to get involved again. I'm thinking of church stuff, but in all honesty, I'm having a struggle bonding with the people here...I don't know if it's that I don't want to or what.
