Why should this be any different?
At least everybody in the Tulsa group will be Apostolic.

I agree ... the idea of multiple fellowship is appealing to most of us ...
Just examining how the machines work and how they will react to viscosity.

Of course they would be well within their right ... as most cons voted to expand this police power under resolution 3.
If these men are "convicted" of ethical misconduct ... what do you expect them to do ??? Stay in fellowship???

Alienating brethren has been the MO for a LONG TIME, Mizzy. The cons are experts in this area.

I do, along with you, wonder how they are going to deal with some aspects of this. Surely they are wondering what moves to make if this Tulsa movement starts providing 'competition' instead of just a 'network'.
I feel safe in saying that the powers that be are already anxious to see what will come of it and what will need to be done in response. If anything.

I for one voted AGAINST resolution 3.
I am not in favor of increasing the power of District Boards.

Many here were advocating it .... I understand some on the other con forums were in favor of it. They saw it as a way to push out the undesirables after the vote went their way. Huge miscalculation, if you ask me.

Police power?
Additionally, there is no aspect of 'ethics' involved here outside of those few who are trying to turn brother against brother. Thankfully I have seen none of that. I'm conservative and have unyielding convictions but have NO time for those who try to make you hate their enemies.

I guess that will be left in the hands of district boards to decide ... I will be interesting to see how the CA boards will react.
