Wouldn't he need a personality?

Tragically, most "Apostolic" preachers were born without a personality. Have you ever tried to make one smile for a picture?

The deep condescending preacher voice, beer belly, white shirts, long sleeves and $90.00 ties are enough personality for me. Wonder if the crocodile skins were worn to the grass hut?

Don't feel sorry for me. The "ministry" isn't driving a 80K car, 10K watch,
700K house, $400. pair of shoes. Reminds me of the song by Ray Stevens..."would Jesus wear a Rolex on his television show".

I was raised in the ministry and I still hold high positions of ministry. My father and mother were home missionaries who would give the shirt off their backs for someone in need. I'm not cynical, just highly perceptive.

well, i remain sorry for your perception. my pastor is good for at least 1 belly laugh per sermon. every pastor I have ever had was a guy who could let his hair down and just be real. either I am the odd ball, or you have encountered something I have fortunately avoided

We don't allow preaching bashing and this comes pretty close to it.

Please refrain from being so cynical.

I didn't know men could wear long hair? A man letting their hair down?

How in the world did you interpret my post and my personality as "unfun". And when did I say a "belly laugh" was wrong? I'm a lot of fun, and even have love handles.

I too enjoy a good laugh...I'm having one right now!:ursof unny
