Exactly what is your premise for saying a Bible College President and Pastor should not fire a Sr. employee on ministerial staff who has been arrested for the reason LW was arrested?
He should of dismissed LW years earlier ,YES I agree!!! I am not saying he shouldn't of. He should of gone too, this is my opinion.

Jesus stooped down and began writing on the ground and everyone walked away.

There have been allegations against character, unsubstantiated rumors, and out and out gossip. Even the things that may be true, none of us on this forum have a right to cast the first stone. I know I don't.

I am ashamed at us all for our judgementalism, our irresponsible postings, and the shadows of sins that may not have happened which may or may not be under the blood but are none of our business.

The Bible talks about how satan will buffet the people of God until they are worn out in the last days. I don't know about the rest of you, but I am so worn out that I wish Christ would come sooner rather than later.

Looking for His appearing, Rhoni

No; plea bargain. I have known both these men for many years and long ago, LW would sing for us. I do know that those young men who flocked to him were all very effeminate. It was a source of contention long before he was dismissed. He was originally removed by KH for that very same thing at WABC.

I consider the whole episode to be disgusting and tragic. To allow that behavior as long as it went on was irresponsible and detrimental to the lives of those young people who were entrusted into the care of TLC. Many people were hurt and destroyed by that spirit of perversion.

LW was JCM and everybody knew it. God himself decided enough was enough. Be sure your sins will find you out. TLC should apologize for the years he allowed this to continue. I find it very difficult to believe people would excuse him as ignorant of it all.

It amazes me if this was a non-UPC preacher, this thread would roll on.
Hmm, seems unfair to me. I will post no more on this subject.

Pastor Craft [TLC] is a good and honorable man. You cannot accuse someone of something with no proof. To do so would have been detrimental to everyone involved. I am not going to say any more on this thread but I won't be a party to coming against the ministry.

Sincerely, Rhoni

Rhoni, I am not attacking him as a man or minister. His work stands for what it is. My point is when you are in a position of being entrusted with young lives in an educational institution, it requires another level of oversight. Background cks, scrutiny at every level, and when allegations are made immediate action is required. You are dealing with the young and vulnerable. Just look at Oprah and how she responded. There had been plenty of smoke for many years. It should have been taken care of immediately.

If someone happens to know who the preacher is, I am NOT bashing him. He has a right to preach anything he chooses to his people and in a conference is the host pastor agrees with it. The can believe it as strict as they choose. Again I state, I am only stating facts, I am not bashing.
The preacher took a UPCI home missions church a number of years ago and the first thing he did was to remove "UPC" from the sign. When it was pointed out that the church was affiliated; he then disaffiliated immediately. Shortly thereafter he dropped from the org. He refused to participate with the district in even the most mundane things and attended a single fellowship right after coming into the district.

All he wanted was somebody else's church so that he didn't have to start from scratch.

This is first hand information and not hearsay.

BOOMM, for a refresher look me up in "that" book and check out the hometown I'm given, correct the name for the obvious mispelling. Yup.

Yup. You are correct. I completely misunderstood what you were saying! Thanks for clearing it up.
