No. I'm glad he's staying.
I wish he would have made that heartwarming speech a couple weeks ago though. I believe the distraction cost us the Arkansas game and by all rights should have cost us the National Championship.
However, the stars have realigned.
Ohio State is in the MNC game.
LSU should be the most deserving of the best of the rest. The BCS voting and human voting will combine to pick the number two team.
Georgia? Playing the best ball in the country right now but could not even win the SEC East much less the SEC title.
Southern Cal? That HORRIBLE loss to Stanford.
Kansas? A joke. They lost to Mizzou and didn't beat a Top 25 team all year.
Oklahoma? They were way down in the computer rankings with strength of schedule and I don't see them passing up LSU.
Hawaii? Undefeated but played a minor league schedule. They will be happy just being in a BCS bowl.
West Virginia and Mizzou lost at the wrong time.
Virginia Tech? There seems to be anti-LSU bias among the voters but would anyone in their right mind put VT in the championship game over LSU when we beat them by 41 points?
A rested LSU team will beat a slow, overrated Ohio State like a drum in the National Championship game.
The Buckeyes will get beat down two years in a row by an SEC team.
