I think I'm going to pick up Wild at Heart now...

Renda,

You should check out another book by John Eldredge called "Waking the Dead". It's pretty much what set me on the road I'm on now... It opened my eyes to the fact that there was a whole lot more romance in my walk with God than churchianity, "pentecost" included, would have me think...

I saw it tonight too. Would it be suitable for me to read or is it geared for men too?

Lol! Well, I think married men could benefit from it - especially their wives.

You don't need a book, you need prayer! LOL! I don't have a suggestion, but man there are tons of books out there - - just take a little bit of time at a Christian bookstore.

You said it! He's the oldest and then there's 4 of them (boy, girl, boy, boy, my poor, poor girl child!) by the time he was 6. I don't think I'm gonna be getting any breaks here for a few years....

I might do that while they're visiting daddy over Christmas break. Not always the most pleasant taking them all into...well...anywhere. lol

If my wife would benefit from the book, then I definitely need to read it.

Waking the Dead is for anyone longing for a deeper relationship with God.

There was one section that had a trinitarian slant to it, but I just reformed it in my mind to view it from a different perspective.

Everything else was pretty powerful.
