Could be true! My pastor started pastoring at age 19 and now over 55 years later he is still pastoring that same church. Now that is "locked in"!

As far as I know, it was Bossier, Madison, Bogalusa, Alexandria (evangelist), then Austin. I may be missing something.

JS did not try to start a church in Dallas before Austin...he considered basing out of there but there was NO PLAN to start a church there...that info was simply bogus.

I have seen so many lies posted. The best one is the one Triumphant 1 did his best to combat. You know, the hair cutting party thing?

Prominent members of this board chose to believe the lie and even continue to spread it, even though T1 had totally proved it was false.

He may have been thinking out loud concerning possible options for his future...but JS is one of my very closest friends and I can say without hesitation that he never considered it as truely plausible...I was one of his closest advisers through that whole stage...It would have been nice though, He likes dallas and he would have been closer to me...LOL. They were considering building a house there to base from though...

Besides...a lot of this thread seems to be an attempt to cast some negative light on a man who has spent his entire adult life being a tremendous blessing to the Apostolic movement...what's up with that?

Of the churches he pastored...most knew going in that he was more on an interim basis...secondly, so what...many of the old time heroes including CP Kilgore pastored and moved many more times that this in a 15 year span and we hail them as great men...guess it depends on if you stay in the fellowship as to how these things are perceived...

Thirdly, What i do know about the whole JS situation is confidential to our close relationship but I will say that there is no friction between him and the Phillips...they have treated him well and he will continue to be connected with them very closely no matter what he does...

I wish you folks could just accept the reality of all things working together for the good and God directing the steps of a righteous man...instead of all this half truth conjecture and gossip...

Do you really know the Subers LAG?....or do you just know them from the sideline?...you are trying to come across as one who has inside info...but I do have inside info and I can say you obviously don't....

He didn't try BUT he did tell others he was going to do so.
There are a few high powered Evangelist that he asked to base out of his church when he was to get it started. I talked to one personally.
