1Ti 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.

Sometimes it's good to think about fighting and victory in combat, even if it's only verbal combat.

Those are NOT my words but the words from Paul. Will you continue to oppose scripture?
The gospel is the good news of Jesus Christ, Brother Miller ... His death and resurrection .... it is not to be confused w/ our proper response to the Gospel which includes the 2 commands in Acts 2:38 .... and the promise that it includes ...

Paul is speaking of the Gospel here ... not our interpretations of various soteriological issues discussed here on the forum ...

If you believe your oneness brethren that hold a 1 step view are accursed ... then what does that say about you who continue to fellowship w/ us ... and do not follow Paul's instructions to mark us and cut us off ....

Will you continue to oppose scripture... or just use more hyperbole?

Eph 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;
(Eph 5:26) That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,
Eph 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

(Tit 3:5) Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Hmmmm...... ....... does baptism in water have anything at all to do with sanctification or regeneration?

Ephesians referes to the water of the Word ....

Titus the regeneration and washing of the Holy Spirit ...

neither verse speaks of water baptism ...

it's just another case of verbal, logical and theological gymnastics needed to explain how every puddle in Scripture must equate to water baptism ...

Hmmm ... must we accept this stretch or should we harmonize the Ephesians and Titus verses w/ the biblical principle that our born again experience, which includes our sanctification and regeneration is from above .... Spirit driven.
