I really don't mean this to appear mean spirited toward those who already call their churches by this title.

I can understand "The Pentecostals of Main Street (or some neighborhood)" but to make the statement that you are indeed "THE PENTECOSTALS OF NEW YORK CITY!" I don't understand it.

If you are threatened or intimidated by a group of Christians claiming to be the Pentecostals of any city, then you need to get a life.
I think the other churches in that particular city should also call themselves the Pentecostals of ________, thereby including themselves with the same group of believers. Oh, but that wouldn't work would it? Since in most cases they want to set themselves apart from other churches. Disunity is the end result and the desired one.
