Well, here's how I see it. I believe and prefer a self-moderating board and we have tried to allow that around here.

So, admin shouldn't be blamed when things happen if we are going that way.

If you want admin to step in, then you need to report it.

I admired Dan for his wit, charm and contribution to this forum and the fact that he made the cons think and to scramble to prop up some of their beliefs. Sometimes even when stuff is reported we see that it was sufficiently handled by the fellow posters. That's called self moderation. Not a bad thing. But there are times when that doesn't work, and "Daddy" has to handle the punishment.
