Well, I've got a lot of favorite preachers. They range from one side of the fence to the other. I couldn't rate them because it would probably amount to who I had had listened to most recently.
Let me just say that I'd be willing to drive a ways and be put out to hear Bro. White in person.
He preaches ALMOST as good as I do! Just kidding!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not even in the same league!

I never said that she loved men more than Jesus. I stated my opinion of the ranking "system" and she came out swinging. I am simply responding. Yeah, I know, everyone who won't go along with the hero worship is either jealous or bitter. You can think that but it isn't true. I am very happy and fulfilled personally.

How does one become carnal if they like gumbo?
How about boiled nutria, does a person become less carnal by partaking in that little varmit.

Well, I hate to do more rebuking, but are you sure that your statement will prove out biblically? Are you saying that Jesus never rebuked anyone for esteeming men more than God or that Jesus never addressed the issue of admiring persons?

Good for LCS. I would too, if someone dared harass my husband.
It isn't "hero worship" to have a favorite speaker. Didn't you ever have a favorite teacher? Do you have a favorite book of the Bible? Do you have a favorite anything? Or are you an all-around politically correct person?

Where did anyone say that they loved preachers more than Jesus?

I guess by quoting scripture I "came out swining", then buddy, you beat me, cause you were the first one to refer to scripture..
I don't go along with hero worship, but I DO HONOR men or women who let God use them and speak to me and my heart! So if that make me a "HERO" worshipper, then so be it, dude!!!
