Some of you need to listen to the message and YOU need some RINGS!
This was a Five Star Sermon. Even if JAS does not like ranking.

Goodness! After reading some of the posts on here I'm of the opinion that perhaps this thread should be closed.
I appreciate the kind words. I surely don't expect them. However, I would hate to think that someone's kind words to me would cause strife for others.
Admins, please feel free to eliminate this thread.

I wonder if this kind of thinking is what birthed the UPC "cult of personality" or if it is a product of it.

I could quote all the posts like this but there is no need. It almost appears to be an issue of jealousy at work.
The bible says that you're not to hold persons in admiration? I think that is quite debatable to say the very least! It's a shame that Jesus didn't agree with that statement. None born among women were greater than John according to Jesus.
Matthew 11:11 - Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist:
There God goes with His unholy ratings system again!
That pesky Bible gets in the way of a lot of human opinions, huh?

Have you not heard of the internet or of ordering cd's??????? My husband has soooooo many downloads and Cd's and DVD's of preachers and sermons from people we have never met or heard in person but we have hear many of their messages. You can hear ALOT of preachers even though they have never came to your church.

Wake up and smell the coffee, brother. You don't have a favorite minister or any personal favorite messages that you have heard?
We ALL "rank" ministers and ministries, all of us do whether we are conscience of it or not. There are some you really like and some that you don't like.....YOU ARE HUMAN!!!!!!
|
Uh-huh!!!!! Some allow God to use them and some hold back. People are fooling themselves if they say they don't mentally rate someone.
