Bernard is a statesman in so many ways. I preach for him from time to time and can honestly tell you... I don't know how people can not like him. He's 'all business' with a kind, sincere heart.
Theologically some might argue but the man is a true statesman. Kind of reminds me of Bro. Urshan in that particular aspect.
You just paid very high honor to David Bernard in comparing his statemanship to Nathan Urshan.
There has never been as great a statesman in Pentecost than Nathaniel A. Urshan...none...and doubt that there will ever be.

To this fact, without a doubt, we agree. Further, I don't think that there will ever be another statesman as openly accepted in the UPCI as Bro. Urshan.
He got things done because he was... well... Bro. Urshan. I sincerely don't think that the UPCI will ever have another one that they allow that much open acceptance.
Brother Parkey. I can't remember where he's from now.
Poplar Bluff, MO He is one of the kindest men I know. He was the president of Gateway when I went there. He had to resign when he broke his back when he fell off a horse. Gateway lost a lot when they lost him.
