Amen to all of the above.
Except, there is a new wind blowing out of the North courtry. A change of season is upon (us). A slightly new direction is now in the offing. It will be gradual as it has been in the past generations...though undetected from generation to generation. But from now on, though still gradual, it wll be a little more rapid.
Thank GOD FOR CALVARY....
OH MY!

I absolutely LOVE that organ! One of my favorite things in this life is hearing a good organ playing hymns just like this.
I used to love going to the PAW Churches and hearing them play before and after service. Incredible organ music.

Yep, I love it too. That's why I said there's just no music like UPC music, PAW, etc.
Glad I have a bit of a cold -- my employees think my sniffles are just from that.

As an additional sidenote I have to confess... I love some of the new music but if we EVER lose some of those old songs we've lost a precious part of our heritage.
We're here singing those old songs they are playing.
Nothing can take the place those old standards like they are playing there.
(Does that show my age?)

No, it shows your love for what's dear to you - - I'm with you, except I'm humming them quietly.

That's right.
Music is the language of spirits. UPC music, espcially music of yesteryear was more angelic than anything. It communicated with angels closer than any music ever played. I have my doubts about some of this modern stuff getting into the UPC.

Sounds familar, just don't know.
Of course, a lot of my musical friends said they would run out of songs to play and would just start playing anything - - themes from movies, etc. No one would know the difference - lol!!!!
