I honestly have been thinking about making and posting a video tutorial to help you and anyone else who is interested.
I know it helps me to watch someone else go through the steps, rather than be told the steps.

Jeanie, they are all beautiful, and you look beautiful in them! When exactly is your trip, and how long will it be for?

We are leaving on Jan 18th and will be in London for 4 days then we fly to India to be there for 7 days.
We return on the February 1st.
We spend like 3-days total in the air.

AG do you remember the food or the animals wandering the streets while you were there--I mean what other things do you remember?

I remember the food very well.. It was all delicious! My favorites were any kind of curry and the naan is delicious too (its a form of bread... and usually you will see them eating their curry using this bread as an eating utensil (tearing off a piece of naan and scooping it up and eating the piece of naan and its contents) not always but usually at least in a home setting. There is one desert that I will try to find the name of that is one you do not want to touch its horrid! And there is another which is wondrful... will find names cuz I know thats no help at all. As for the animals I dont remember a lot of that but again that was well... over 20 yrs ago LOL
You will have a wonderful time and as long as you can handle a lil spicy food you will do just fine
There is one thing about the clothing and I am trying to find that info too but I think I will call my bf and ask her.. what part of India are you going to be in? There is one area where actually it is supposedly wrong to wear the purple as it is a sign of only royalty.. but cant remember for sure so I want to find out to give exact so as not to offend anyone there or here

Jeanie,
The pictures were beautiful. I think the pink one looks great on you...definitely your color.
Enjoy India. My Mom and I were on our way one year...got as far as London and thought we might not make it out of India so we booked it home on the fastest Concorde...
I have a difficult time fitting into an Apostolic church...India would be impossible
Blessings, Rhoni

I love their food, and love naan!
I know that saree/sari looks purple in the picture but it's more dark Burgundy-we will be in a province that is not ruled by a royal family--just in case in looks purple to them!
