1. You must repent, be baptized in Jesus name and filled with the Holy Ghsot. That will put you into the Kingdom. After your conversion you must live a holy and Godly life.

2. Since you want to get technical we are not actually saved until we hear him say, "Well done". If you don't do what I sad earlier you won't hear him say "Well done".

Time reveals many things. That is my favorite saying! I too do not believe it is for offices for the ones I know. I cannot speak for the ones I do not know. It is a human thing. There will always be splits off anything. We have had them here and every missionary I know has spits at some time or the other. The best think is to keep OUR spirit and attitude right. I have friends on both sides and I am sure many of us here do. I pray for those that gossip will destroy, I pray for those that are trying to do the right thing whether they agree or do not agree ...the strong will pull through..the weak ones may perish. It may turn out to be a good thing for some so let´s pray, keep our spirits right, our heart right and seek after the will of God in our personal lives.
I will say something strange WHAT may be right for some may not be the will of God for others.

Some? Perhaps. But to think everyone of prominence leaving is leaving for that reason? Absolutely no way. One of the key figures - from Mississippi no less - told me to my face that he would NOT take an office his name was being pushed for and that was BEFORE the vote on Resolution 4.

It's an accusation cast about freely but, alas, like most accusations there is little viable merit to it.
In all due respect but how does one explain Godair, Godair, Odom, Wilson, and Coon recently being on the short end of theh stick for electing positions? Would they be leading this if they had been elected?

Also, how many of these men currently hold elected positions in the UPCI? I dont know of any (i dont know all of them though) that are leaving an elected position to go to this splinter group.

"Sacred Desk" is a phrase used for a podiums, lecterns, music stands, or soap boxes. It takes on its sanctity when the Holy Ghost is speaking through an anoited child of God who would prop their scriptures upon the podium and preach.

How old are you?

What troubles me is that you mock a phrase that I used only to honor your own unbiblical term. You are to strive for fresh anointing every day? Did any one in the OT constantly get anointed by a priest every day?

Are you still UPCI?

I wholeheartedly agree with this. Mississippi is one of the greatest Districts in the UPC. I've preached many meetings in many places there and have always found the Mississippi District to love good, solid preaching and fervent worship.

Much like any District I would suspect there are some dead Churches who have no vision. Hey, even I have a hangnail on my left hand... but I'm not cutting my arm off over my meaningless hangnail.

Mississippi is a great District.

Yet another great post by the wonderful 'Mother' Alvear.

Sister Alvear, I've said at least 100 times to various Preachers in the last 6 months, "Time... time... time is the great revealer. It reveals men's intentions, their desires and their integrity."

Your entire post is great and I, too, find myself praying for those that gossip will dishearten, damage and destroy.
