Jesus will have a new name

Jesus will have a new name in Heaven according to the Word of God

which no man knows. What would you call God in heaven and why?

I was talking to a brother about this a couple weeks ago, I think it will be a name that means "King of kings/Lord of lords''.

He's not the only one with a new name
Isa 62:1 For Zion's sake I will not keep silent, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not be quiet, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness, and her salvation as a burning torch.
Isa 62:2 The nations shall see your righteousness, and all the kings your glory, and you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the LORD will give.
Isa 62:3 You shall be a crown of beauty in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
Isa 62:4 You shall no more be termed Forsaken, and your land shall no more be termed Desolate, but you shall be called My Delight Is in Her, and your land Married; for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.

  4. That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
  5. That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
  6. The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Could it be this new name is also the name of the City of God?
Rev 3:12 The one who conquers, I will make him a pillar in the temple of my God. Never shall he go out of it, and I will write on him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down from my God out of heaven, and my own new name.

BTW this "new name"....the bible does not say it is a new name. It just says he has a name written that nobody else knows

Is he not talking about Israel in these scriptures?

I thought we are all getting new names. I wonder if before we are born God chooses His name for us? And to him that is what we are known by.

I thought Isaiah was talking first about the city of Jerusalem in Judah and then the New Jerusalem.

Ga 4:26
But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
