When does one know if they've prayed and fasted enough?

I don't deny that one element is worship, another element is this, is he lifted up to have the pre-eminence in our lives?
That is a question we can all ask ourselves.

I've also heard the Lord say "The whole world is waiting to see my Spirit manifested through you". Everything starts with prayer then you can worship in Spirit and truth, you can then manifest the gifts, you can testify to sinners, and preach under the anointing and see signs, wonders and miracles but it all starts with prayer. If you have a good prayer life that's a pretty good sign that he has the pre-eminence in our lives

Prevailing prayer is always a need - for every situation and every circumstance. However, prayer in and of itself does not guarantee instant result. Sometimes we wait a LONG time before we see answers to prayer. Sometimes the answer we're looking for or expecting never comes. It's very important that we pray according to the will of God. Praying in and of itself doesn't guarantee answer. Sometimes the answer is NO.
There are times and seasons in the plan of God. There are seasons of drought, seasons of pain, seasons of great trial and discomfort, seasons of silence, seasons of barren-ness. Praying doesn't guarantee that we'll escape these seasons or even shorten them.
We MUST pray according to the will of God and submit everything we pray for to the divine will and and purpose of an Omnisicient God.
We need to also remember that there is going to ALWAYS be opposition to prayer. I've heard people wonder why they have such a hard time praying. Well, we have to remember we have an ENEMY and constant opposition so don't expect that it will EVER be easy to pray, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't, of course, or remove the responsibility and absolute necessity of doing so.
I love the subject of PRAYER!!!

If you like the subject of prayer buy a book called E. M. Bounds on prayer. It's the best book on prayer I've ever read. It will flat make you want to pray. Or what's better do a search on google and you should be able to find some of his books online.

The Supreme Need of the Hour. That would be an interesting read, I'm sure. What I find interesting is reading these old messages and discovering our relevant they are for this present hour. What we, as a church, need is a return to Pentecost. Now thats become a cliche, but hear me out. We have become consumed with the "nuts and bolts" of Pentecost, but what is needed is a return to the EXPERIENCE of Pentecost. We've settled with the doctrines and teachings of Pentecost, and have, in many circles, neglected the experience. The prayer, the seeking God for a single purpose. The enduement of power. A true infilling, a baptism, completely immersed in the power and annointing of the Spirit. We have discussed and debated the Pentecostal message, but, maybe we need to EXPERIENCE Pentecost in its fulness. We don't pray with the same intensity, we don't deny self, we seek the joy and excitement of Pentecost, but wheres the contriteness... the brokeness of spirit? We focus on Joel 2:28-29, but have we considered Joel 2:15-17? We want the Joel 2:28-29, but, the price of Joel 2:15-17 has to be paid by our "presenting our bodies a living sacrifice..."

The book I have is 622 pages. Is that what yours has?
If your picture is current you don't look old enough to be an old-time. Maybe just a timer

Mar 9:29 And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting. When "this kind can come forth", then we have prayed and fasted enough. Admittedly, I'm not there yet.
