how's your water?
just recieved w/ utility bill:
''Our water system recently failed a drinking water standard.
WE routinely moniter for the prescence of drinking water contanimates. Testing results from Well nos. ........... collected during the month of Dec. show that our system exceeds the standard or maximum contanimant level(MCL) for Arsenic. The federal standard for arsenic is 10 micrograms per litre(ug/L). The arsenic concentration for these wells ranged from 5.9 ug/L to 47 ug/L.
THIS IS NOT AN IMMEDIATE RISK. However, some people who drink water containing arsenic in excess of the MCL over many years may experience skin damage or circulatory system problems and may have an increased risk of getting cancer."
anyone want to drink of Hanford water?

Now if they tell you that, just imagine what's in that water that they aren't telling you.
We have a filtering system. I wouldn't dare drink the water from the tap without it.

We get our water and ice from the filtered water dispenser on our refrigerator.
And I agree with the assessment on water quality---- what else is in the water that we aren't told?

Our water tastes bad, AND it has failed coliform tests twice in two years. We drink bottled water, (and use bottled for cooking, tea and coffee) and only use tap water for bathing and washing clothes.
