Elder Epley,

Not only does AM preach at his own meeting but so does his mother, yes the believe in women preachers!

If I can say this without getting banned BOTT is a liberal meeting...some holiness men preached there and took up with them and they are NO longer holiness men...

and yes....
I have heard tapes of BOTT. I have heard some holiness messages preached, BUT if you preach on tv, video, jewelry etal....you are not a regular BOTT speaker

Doesn't seem out of place to me at all. The sponsor of the meeting definitely has the right to cast his vision. Now, if he preached every single service, it would be different.........but the keynote message should be preached by the man who had the vision for the meeting in the first place, in my humble opinion.

Brother Randy Keyes is definitely holiness minded. I challenge you to observe his church and his leaders and say differently. I challenge you to listen to his preaching over a span of time and say differently.

He has attended BOTT for many years. It has not seemed to change him.

I tell you what, if the Mangun's aren't holy, then there's a bunch of folks that should be very worried!

I am very surprised SE that you have spouted this on two threads.

You say you are not familiar with this then mention names of people that do this that are NOT UPC. Knowing it is men that left the org or some such.

Why do you find it odd that a minister that has a vision/burden for a cause not speak from his heart?

Not only does he speak every year but so does his mother. I have never heard either of them have a dud year.

Ask him what the cost is for having this meeting after everyone's gone. The spirits they deal with.

Some see the glory of the conference and not the sacrifice that goes with it.

Him preaching his own conference has nothing to do with EGO unless you think it is ego for a pastor to preach to his own church. Same difference as far as I'm concerned.
