I grew up in UPC and never saw running until I moved to Jackson, MS, other than one time I remember at camp meeting when I was a teenager. You have to understand our people did not grow up in Pentecostal churches, so they have never seen anyone RUN. And it's not in the Bible, so you can't teach it like dancing, shouting, clapping, etc. It's just an emotional release that is ok, but it's definitely not an injunction from Scripture.

I actually saw a guy take off and run around the church in Ed Young's conference and it's Baptist!

Sorry, Thad, no videos! You'll just have to take my word for it. We were singing that song about "......dance, dance, dance all night" and I decided that I am too old to dance all night!!! I can dance a little and then I have to rest. LOL!

I love praise and worship. I love to watch especially our young people as they worship and sometimes I just stand and weep to see their worship.
God is a GOD of order and believe me I have seen a lot of disorder but however in God's order worship is beautiful.

Wednesday nights are our "Sunday nights". Sunday mornings are for the visitors and the people coming in from other denominations. We keep it at a level that they are not freaked out of their minds. But Wednesdays are for us - to draw closer to God. We love Wednesday nights!!!! They are not for the faint of heart.

This must have been at the Jackson campus? WOW that is exciting! I love being around folks that worship -- or dont mind a little demonstration of the spirit.

Does the Edge musician ever play in the Wednesday night service? I just love them

Nope, the Edge music leader is also the Jr. High Youth Pastor, so on Wed. nights, he's doing P & W in the Youth. The Edge Pastor is our Senior High Pastor on Wed. Nights, so he's tied up with Youth too.

Yes, this was the Jackson campus. LOL! Actually Savannah is very open to this type of move too. That bunch came from UPC, you know.
