My wife is right here and I would love to set you straight. She'd probably set you straight on more than one issue...

I thought Steve Epley offered some insight about "Saints Who Abuse!" What do you do with these people?

I remember one pastor tell of an "abusive" sister who would call him him night and day about either the silliest things or some of the most horrendous things that no pastor wants to hear. Once she called to "confess" that she had committed the sin of fornication. Trying to put a brave face on this new dilemma, the good pastor asked about "the other party" to see if there were any complicating factors in getting the sister restored.

In response to the question about "the man involved" the sister promptly handed the phone to the very same man who was in bed beside her. It turns out, when she said she had "just committed the sin" she meant "just now." Now, that's abuse of a pastor!

The best way to get over something is to write it out or talk it out with a close friend or a counselor. If you write it down - burn it and forgive as you burn it. If you talk about it...put it in you hand and raise it up to God and give it to him.

To talk about it keeps the wounds open and the infection growing.

Many times as was my case. It was not battle wounds and scars. It was utter frustration on just outward unfairness...

I know that can mean many things to many folks.

Your advice is some very good advice...
