It's more than that- it's the hundred other things that some say you have to do for salvation that alot of people write about on there.
Standards of men.
Standards alone never abused anyone. We all need standards in our lives.
But I don't agree that some are necessary for salvation as they are preached. But I will say that while standards won't get you to heaven, lack of standards will keep you out of heaven.

I've gone and done it now! I'm on Facebook!!!
Here is one of the main reasons I did NOT go into pulpit ministry....well other than the fact that I wouldn't be any good....my usual therapeutic answer is, "Waaah, get over it".
I think I chose the correct path by learnin' me some music instead!!!
LOL
I can't see how anyone would want to be a pastor.
Now........I wouldn't have said that twenty years ago. Maybe even ten years ago!

Fine go over there and eat all that infected food and wonder why you can't get well. Bitterness defiles Paul said that. Go an get you daily diet from one sided tales and destroy all the opportunites God would have to speak to you from an annointed preacher.
A lady I worked with (we were a small Christian radio station) ALWAYS played the "I'm a victim" card, in fact, many times deservedly so. But she kept getting the same "Waaah" response from me much to her dismay. In fact, it really ticked her off. Then, one day, she came to me...after realizing some of the things that have happened in my life, and watching me and my "get over it" attitude, she said she would try that approach as well. She is now, happier, adjusted, kinder, and whole lot more fun to be around...kinda like me...groan!!!! LOL.

As long as one only see's themself as a victim, they will never be an overcomer.
You wanna hear about abuse??????? How about my good pastor friend who was overseeing the funeral of his father, the senior pastor, and as he is walking into the sanctuary, gets stopped by a "saint" complaining that the soda machine ate her money and demanded a refund, NOW!!!!!
I'da slapped them into next week...he was much kinder. Nope, you couldn't PAY enough $ for me to do that!!!

Please don't get me wrong, some folks need counseling and therapy....I ain't one of them, thats what my Dad is for, no, not Louis Ramirez, he died when I was 13, my "other" Dad.

I am an annointed preacher. And I am saying that preaching standards of men is not of God and needs rebuking.
