I'm not as talented as any of you brothers and sisters.I can keep time with a tamborine though.
The church needs more tambourine players.

LOL, I stated in another thread, Christian Life Center in Stockton, CA now has tambourine ministry. They have around 10-20 really nice tambourines on the altar and an usher will bring you one if it is requested. The 2 ladies next aisle over from me wailed away during the song service...they couldn't keep time, (My eldest sis was a pro back from the Apostolic Assembly days) but I am sure their Lord loved it. Lord knows I didn't, he he!

I think O'N should be let loose with one, once in a while. He was 'playing' around on one a while back and it sounded great.
It might be cool on a song....

And the tambourine players all need to be on the platform with the other musicians.... by the time the sound get's to the tambourine players in the audiance, and back to the platform, they are out of time because of the sound delay... If you don't play the tambourine on the platform in your church, ask if you can and your other musicians won't believe the difference it makes....

Most of the time, but not all the time, it's the sound travel factor that does it... The tamborine players need to relize that they too are playing a instrument and need to be with the other musicians...
