I don't know, but I do know that 12th grade events in all categories are often more rigid, with the upcoming college offers, etc.
Regardless, if there was a change, wouldn't her coach have informed her, and if not, why not? Was she sabotaged by the guy in charge of the meet or by her own school?
Or, was she informed, and then refused to get a new uniform since it was allowed in previous events?
