I read part of it a number of years ago. I remember it talking about how we should give out compliments instead of just "thinking" them. Which I am very prone to do, just thinking that is.
However, yesterday I had a Silver Box given to me if you will. I was teaching a SAP class at work and one of the students came up to me before the class began and asked me if I used to work for SWA. I said yes, and she said you probably don't remember me but I used to wait on you at Black Eye Pea. She said you were always so nice I loved to see you come in. And I loved your pastor as well. Wanted to know how he was doing and that she heard he had been to the Philippines and I agreed with her he is a very fine man and was back in the states.
She is going to start riding my van which I am excited about, as she has a very sweet spirit. She was wearing her cross necklace and said grace before eating. I hope to get her to come to my Friday night service.
Then this morning I received another silver box. A very good friend of mine that is also a licensed minister and author of a very good selling book called me to tell me what a blessing my book on the SEALS was to her. She said she picked it up with her bible to go downstairs to her office to read and ended up reading some in my book. She said it was so full of scriptures and said things she knew but needed to be reminded of.
I was very thrilled it was a blessing to her because that is my heartbeat of my books. It is not about making money, although I have no desire to be in debt over them either.
Anyway, I wanted to share these comments with my friends and to remind each of us to give silver boxes to others.
I would like to give a Silver Box, if you will, to Renda. She is a dedicated Owner/Admin that works many hours on this forum. She is a single Mom planning a wedding for her only daughter and working full time.
She has a great sense of humor and a lot of wisdom as well.
I hope there is someone here you would like to give a silver box to also.
Sister,
I too have been blessed by your book. I would reccommend it to everyone who would like to have some strong meat backed up by scripture. The book is for those who are seeking depth, understanding and insight to many things that many of us wonder about.
You are a great writer who undertook no small project for which will be a blessing to all who read it.
Thank you sister. Here is another "silver box" for you.

Thank you so very much brother for those kind words. My friend told me today she said I can tell "you" didn't right this, God's hand was on it. That is the ONLY way I every want to write.
I prayed and prayed that it would be a blessing to those who read it and I trust it will. It is not easy reading per se but it is needed today. We are in a battle and need to recognize our enemy.
A Silver Box to you as well, for all the spiritual insight you share with many posters and young ministers.

Read the book many years ago, Esther...great book and good thread idea.
I would like to offer a 'Silver Box' to Lady Coonskinner...for your sweet spirit and attitude, your delightful humor, and for your sincere love for God's people.
This is for you...
WOW!!!
I was not expecting this at all. Thank you, you just made my day!!!
This is a very SWEET thread... can I open one of these boxes and look for a piece of chocolate?

Esther is a very special lady with one of the kindest, most gentle spirits I know. God used her to bless me in a special way this Christmas season and I will never forget her kindness.
1. To Renda who I can relate to on many levels. She is a survivor/an overcomer and I admire her grit and tenacity. Those who have never been in similar circumstances will never know the strength it takes to multi-task successfully in as many areas as she does. She has my respect.
2. Sis. Esther who loves the Lord, has a passion for the lost, and is supportive to others in their efforts to make a difference in lives. She too, has my respect.
Both of these ladies are wonderful examples of moderate/balanced lives who donate time and energy to make this place as balanced as humanly possible. Thank-you for all your efforts.
Blessings to you both,
Rhoni
P.S. I don't know how to give thinks...is there a button to push?
