Re: Did you have an imaginary friend growing up?
My nephew, Ethan, had a sawed-off broom handle that he painted a face on, and called 'him', "Cousin Ed."
He brought "Cousin Ed" to our house one night and said that he wanted to take him to our family picnic/reunion...I told him in no uncertain terms that he was NOT bringing that broom to our family deal...he just looked at me, but brought it anyway, leaving it in the car.
But the funny thing was that night when he left our house, Ethan hugged us goodbye and left.
A moment later the door slightly opened, he stuck the broom inside, and said, "Cousin Ed says goodnight!!"
I was almost on the floor...

I have six sisters and one brother. I didn't need an imaginary friend.

How about you? Do you dare admit it, that you talked to yourself?

I never had an imaginary friend while growing up. When I was young I thought that was odd, when I heard of it. lol

Re: Did you have an imaginary friend growing up?
I confess I did! I would ask my second Mom for treats for my friend as well. I was an only child at the time.
I have a great niece that talks with her imaginary friend all the time. She tells her Mom that her friend is always messing up her room. She likes treats for her friend, too.

Imaginary friends are too often an introduction to inauspicious spirits who very often become visible to their spiritual eyes with whom they very often develop an ominous relationship.
OK, so call me crazy. There it is, for anyone who would want to seriously consder these words. If not.... OK. You are welcome to call me crazy anyway.

I agree there could be some concerns in this area.
