Re: Gabby's

It's been a busy day here. We had a lot of things to get done around here-- which took most of the day. This evening we had a leadership meeting at church from 5:30 till about 9:30. I'm exhausted. I'm about to go relax on the couch and maybe watch an episode of JAG on DVD while I'm waiting on Samantha to get in from work. Then I'm going to head to bed.

I'm looking forward to church tomorrow.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Do you wait up for her every night?

Well, sort of. I do stay up on the nights she gets off work at 11pm.

Mon-Thurs she works from 4:30 till 3am. I don't sleep much while she is working. Ever have those nights that you wake up and look at the clock every hour or so? I have those-- every Mon-Thurs. I can't sleep soundly till she's home. I guess I just haven't gotten used to her being gone at night yet. It's been less than a month. So I'm usually up sitting in the office from a little before 3am till she gets home about 3:20am. I use the time for praying. Then I get another hour of good sound sleep before hubby gets up for work at 4:45.

Maybe I'll get used to her being away from home at night and be able to get a decent night's sleep soon.

I hope so. An hour and a half per night is not much sleep!

Re: Gabby's

Hello everyone,
I just love Sundays, and especially today. I am going to be babtised tonight. Our babtismal is warm and ready for us.

I almost drowned a long time ago and I am phobic about water going over my face. But I have been praying and I am trusting in God to ease my fear.

When I think about the ceremony I feel the fear but more than that I feel such a spiritual warmth.

AND

This morning---Praise God---

background info

I have a friend that ewas saved at one time but she fell away. She wants to be a Christian, and I know that she would be a mighty worker for
God. She sings so beautiful and she plays the piano. Satan just would not leave her alone, and he sent the most owful things to bring her down. Being a young Christian she did not know how to keep holding on.

But This morning she came back to church and she is a Christian. I hugged her and asked her to come to the choir with me. She did and she stood beside me and sang. It was beautiful.

I give God praise and glory for pulling His prodigal one back to Him.

She was a Christian right before I was saved. I was an athiest at that time and pretty much told her that she was an idiot---etc. I have worried that the way I talked may have had some to do with her backsliding. I have spent a lot of time praying for her.

God is good.

A- I am so glad you are getting baptist ed- I know it will be a wonderful experience. I can still remember the night I got baptisted- before I got the Holy Ghost- It was a physical experience for me - I felt such a peace and cleanness about me after being baptist ed. You have taken on the Name of Jesus in baptism- I am so happy for you.
