Quote from Bro. T.W. Barnes' book on healing

Many people of other denominations visit me. A while back a Baptist minister’s wife came to the office and told me, Bro. Barnes, we want the Holy Ghost.

I looked at her and said, Lady you know about our Pentecostal ladies and their standards of dress.

She said, Do you know why we are here? A little Pentecostal girl passes our house every day going to school with her long hair, long dress, no makeup. Conviction got me, and I want to be like that girl.

Do those feelings and words from the Baptist folks necessarily confirm the will of God for them about such issues? (Do you think this can even be asked?)

This means nothing regarding dress codes. Your assertion that clothes somehow brings conviction is laughable, not to mention completely unbiblical. Did I miss something here or are you insinuating outward appearance represents God's ability to bring conviction?

If anyone feels conviction from God, it is God that does the convicting, not us or what we are wearing. To say so, would imply God is dependent on our dress to convict.
