Why not if none of this matters? Why not go to some pagan temple where they have the big fountains and baptize in JESUS' name?

GOD BLESS!

great point alex.

How about doing it at the local swimming pool during public swimming night. Maybe you could have a pool party afterwards.

This HAS been done by UPC churches even when they didn't have the facilities - - you are being silly now.

I don't read anywhere in the Bible that says it has to be in a certain church building.

My son was baptized in a blow up pool outside the church because we were in a temporary building - - was he not baptized correctly because it wasn't IN the church?

Oh hey Renda worse yet... I guess when we were building our church here in the area... years back... we had services in the school administration building... and seventh day adventist building... and actually had most of our baptisms at the local AOG church... I guess all of them are hell bound now huh?? all 100 or so we baptized in that year... all still living for God in truth and most of them are in the ministry... Oh but how could that be?! They were baptized in the AOG church!!!!

No the bible doesn't say that a baptism must be done at a specific location. But to baptize a someone in a church that denies the fundemental doctrine of who Jesus is while having the local reverend standing over your shoulder contradicting what you are saying is equally silly.

Did the seventh day adventist preacher preach to them??

Did the Aog's reverend stand over the shoulder and 'correct' your baptisms.

Nice try though.

Re: I Baptized my Kid in Jesus name last night!

We are renting in a facility where they don't have a baptism tank.
There is a Baptist Church down the block from us who very kindly lets us use the tank.
He just requires some advance notice & while he opens the door for us & has the tank
prepared, he doesn't stick around in the immediate area.
He is young & very kind.

When we needed a facility in the past and didn't have one we contacted our local swimming pool.
They let us come there after the public swim & when people got out, they allowed the preacher & the one being baptized in
while we stood at the edge.

Worked for us.

BTW, no other people in the pool at the time & we use Baptismal robes.
