I attend a trinitarian church from time to time, but in no way do I agree with their doctrine. However, I'm not looked down on when I attend there.
I know the truth. My kids attend the UPC, even though my daughter wears pants outside of church. She has long hair though, and she's just a kid, so they excuse her.

I don't think we have to agree with everything the pastor says in order to attend, and I don't think it's a problem to teach our children that we have areas of disagreement and the man of God is not infallible.

This is a good post. You have a great spirit.

Being baptized "IN" the church, well the church is people, not a building. And Thumper took the words out of my mouth in how he shot down the arguments before. I'd get baptized in the AOG baptistry by a Oneness preacher if we had nothing else, but I wouldn't do a trinitarian/JESUS name baptism combo-thing. And I'll tell you this, when I pastor a church I will NOT let any trinitarians use the church's baptistry, they'll have to go to the Saco River or to the Church of Christ, lol!
GOD BLESS!

God did it for us. Out of sheer generosity he put us in right standing with himself. A pure gift. He got us out of the mess we're in and restored us to where he always wanted us to be. And he did it by means of Jesus Christ. ~Romans 3:24 from The Message

This post is ugly. Pure ugly. You're no more likely to miss hell than anyone else. And with an attitude like this you're sitting a little less likely than some.
I'm glad I won't be sitting under your pastorate. I've worked hard to get poison like this out of my life.

Way cool! I baptized my two oldest in Jesus name in the tub.
I don't think God cared about it being at home at not at church.
But at the advice of a pastor I allowed him to rebaptize them at church in Jesus name years later.
I was going to a trinitarian church at the time.
Blessings

Don't ever compromise the truth!!
I like your post I don't see any thing ugly about it at all. You have to stand up for what you believe. Even if others want to try to make you look foolish and say your past is ugly.
