Are You Somewhat "Old Fashioned?"
Just reading on another thread about change reminds me of some things that don't change.
I am old fashioned about some things, the things I will not do are not "Sin" per se, but I still prefer the old way.
I won't wear anything but a suit & tie (white shirt) to an official Church service.
I like the idea of an Altar call where Ladies are on the left & men on the right.
I have been in service where it was mixed and when people started praying for others, men just in from the world felt "led" to place an arm or hand on a nearby ladies shoulder, or hands.
I will call Pastor, or leaders if I can not make a service.
These are not "sin" just some "old fashioned paths" I enjoy walking.
Are you "old fashioned?"
Are there some traditions you enjoy participating in?

I like the tradition of wearing your best for church; I don't care for the casual look.

Re: Are You Somewhat "Old Fashioned?"
There's absolutely nothing wrong with being a little old fashioned.
I like singing old hymns of the faith.
I like listening to "oldies" on the radio.
I like hearing church bells ring on Sundays.
I like listening to a REAL piano instead of a synthesized keyboard in church.
I like old fashioned anointed singing and preaching.
I like sitting with my wife, children and their spouses, and grandchildren all together on a pew in church.
But....I've learned to roll with a lot of the new stuff!

You said it well Pianoman. I'm right there with you. I'm too comfortable in my old skin to change now.
