YES!! JK, I think it is entirely different, you were saying goodbye to a position, not leaving all together.
And, part of this reaction is coming because this is a pattern for some. I have only been around about 6 mos. or so, and some have come and gone several times already.

Most of them never really leave. They just choose an alter ego.
Lots of times they do it cause they need to speak with a fresh voice.
Just tell them adios, that you will miss them, and that you will cry yourself to sleep every day they don't post.
That will soothe them and bring them back quickly.

I was on the forum some, you'll find some of my posts. But yeah Dan is my brother, as in sibling and I thought he was treated unfairly. But the changes that have been made have encouraged me to be on more.

I think I did that a couple of times by PM... I can't say that I told them I'd cry myself to sleep though.
