You might be right on that. I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for one.

Just looking at recent developments in the last 24-48 hrs: IAintMovin (apparently a former owner) announces he's leaving... BOOM also announces he will leave "and never be back", and adds that he's "ashamed to be even a member"...StMatthew (co-owner/head admin) announces he's leaving...Steadfast (former owner) announces he's leaving... now it's announced that the banned list has been suddenly wiped clean... then we start to see names and faces that had we hadn't seen since around the beginning of the year. Meanwhile others have made cryptic-sounding posts hinting that they know "the story behind the story", so to speak. It seems like a lot of of what is said is being said in code.

Clearly AFF is going through some kind of transition in leadership, and possibly in direction also. Obviously some know more than others right now, and I guess regular folk who are not "insiders" will just have to sit here and wonder what the real deal is. We may never get an explanation of what happened/is happening behind the scenes, (not to say we're necessarily owed one), but the situation as it is now will just lend itself to a lot of whispering and speculation about what's been happening in the background.

I thought it was clear.
There was a change in ownership and Admin. We thought since we are sort of starting anew we would wipe the ban list too...which BTW is something well all decided to do a long time ago before Boom and the others left. At the end of the year we would give out reprieves.

Well, it started to become clear over time. Even after I posted my message above, certain things popped up on the board that started to shed more light on what was going on.

Several times yesterday, there were hints and indications that something was afoot, even though, from what I could see, the owners hadn't made any formal announcement. Obviously this just led to a lot of puzzlement and speculation. Some of us here had to pretty much "put the pieces together" since it seemed everyone was being so tight-lipped about some of the changes taking place.

And the explanation of "end of year reprieves" is new also. I hadn't heard that till now, even though some of us had asked yesterday about the rationale behind clearing the list.

Anyway, it is what it is. Thanks for the response.
