I am around a little. I was really busy last week from Thursday on... church fundraiser, marriage enrichment retreat at church... Then we had things going on yesterday with family.

Today I am doing baking for the young at heart luncheon... so I'm kind of online and offline a bit today. Just checking in when I can.

We're still recovering from all the junk. Three out of five of us have been to the doctor. Hubby has an appointment this afternoon. I started treating Michael with preventive meds to hopefully keep him from getting the junk....

You don't even wanna know how many cans of Lysol spray I've used this week trying to keep everything sterilized.

And as for the taxes, I used to always do mine online until Jon and I married. I usually do them to get a general idea, and then take them to a CPA because there is something about the Mississippi thing that I can't figure out on Turbo Tax. We itemize, so I get to take off the tax preparation fee the next year anyway. But thanks for the offer!

I am quite thankful that I got an early jump on things this year and had mine finished several weeks ago.

With my husband being out of work for 8 months of 2007, our income was down pretty low. Looking on the brightside, at least if you don't make any money, you don't have to pay taxes on it!

I am afraid that we will have to pay!!!! I am prepared to write a check- I just hope we do not have to pay a penalty for not paying enough throughout the year. I use Turbo Tax to do them, too.

You shouldn't have to pay a penalty for not paying enough as long as you pay when you file....

Hi ladies!

Well I would like to share my thoughts with people of my own gender if that's ok?

I feel fat! LOL! It's like I have to on a perpetual diet since I turn 36 (which is a very long time ago)

I lose weight when I diet but as soon as I eat normal food, forget it and the weight comes right back on! It get annoying--I have to do low carb eating to lose but it is a hard way to eat all the time! HATE IT! Plus the fact I do not gain weight like other normal woman I gain it in my arms and back and sides GROSS-

(oops I hope the men folk dont peak in...)

Jeanie - I feel your pain. I have been on every diet in the book. Last year I lost 26 pounds doing something like Jenny Craig- I have kept 20 of it off- I am now back on weight watchers, because I have a fear of the weight creeping back on. I watch every bite I eat and walk an hour 4 days a week. The problem I have is so many of our social events and celebrations are around food. I love food and especially party food. A couple of things I have done to help me is : I weigh every day, and eat only one big meal a day. The other meals are snacks or very small meals. I eat at least 3 pieces of fruit a day. Hope this helps.

My weight used to stablize at a certain place now that I have gotten older it wants to shift upward! HATE IT!
