Here's a little tid bit of advice...
make sure you take the pain meds like it says..even if you don't like the feeling they give you.
I went through a painful shoulder surgery and I was determined I was going to make it with out the meds. (You hear all these stories about getting addicted) I had a longer recovery time and I think it was because I was to afraid of the meds.
Good Luck
Also, understand that people don't get addicted if they take them for what they are used for. This is a misconception that people have. If you have pain and you take pain meds as prescribed, you won't get addicted to them.
Addiction happens when people take pain meds after no longer having pain or having less pain that what the med requires.

I've gone and done it now! I'm on Facebook!!!
I do and I have a couple projects that I think I'll be able to do for my daughter's wedding.
She wants to use love quotes throughout the wedding, so I'm making book markers with love quotes on them. The quotes are printed on velum that we purchased at Hobby Lobby and I'm going place them on top of a printed card stock. Punch a heart shaped hole on either side and tie the two together with a ribbon going through the hearts. On the back we've printed "Thank you for sharing this day with us! Their names and date of the wedding". Then we'll place one at each place setting at the reception as a memento.
I have all the supplies ready in a bag and I should be able to sit while recouping and make all 200 of them.
Those book marker mementos sound sweet! Having stuff like that to do should help pass the time.
I didn't know you were having surgery. I will be praying for you. The recovery sounds tough but it sounds like it will be worth it. God will be with you and give you a speedy recovery. In Jesus' Name!
