I know that any person can be saved anywhere, anytime as long as they completely obey the Word of God and its plan for salvation.... my question is in the context of a city/town where God has called a preacher to be a beacon of light; will God ever abandon a city or town and pull His preacher out leaving it with noone??? Through the years, I have heard of smaller cities/towns being completely abandoned when a pastor would feel "called" elsewhere and noone else would come to fill the gap....
will God ever abandon a city/town to its own wickedness or will He always call another preacher to come and fill the vacancy??? any thoughts???

Malvaro ,I don't believe God will ever abandon a city/town to its wickedness-He will always call someone to be a light there, now God's timing is not always our timing.Thinking of reasons why the Holy Ghost would not permit Paul to preach in different areas ;well for one I believe once it had to do with timing,God not only prepares the harvest but He also prepares the worker for the harvest which leads to another reason perhaps Paul was not allowed to go to certain areas ,that being that God had someone else to send to that place.
9 years ago we left a city that we had labored in for a little over a decade ,to this day there is still no Oneness work started in that city but I know that one day there will be ,each time I begin to pray for that city my heart breaks and I believe it breaks because the heart of God breaks and He weeps over that city as well.My prayer shall always be "Lord send forth laborers into Your harvest field" In Jesus Name.
