I'm sure a spry young thing like you will be doing the foxtrot again in no time. My 92 year old granny had a hip replaced in November and did very well with it.

Lol....it is funny because they call me the "young one" at my doctor's office because most are 70+ years old that are having knee replacements!

Sounds VERY tempting -- at least I would know that I was being taken care of!!! What about internet access? I have a laptop!

I'm headed to my physician now -- my EKG came back abnormal so he wants to check my blood pressure before he will release me for surgery.

The story on that is my ex called me on the way to the hospital for my pre-op tests and told me there was a chance he was going to lose his job.......we've been through that many times before. So, as he's explaining that and I'm driving for my pre-op test my mind is racing (and apparently, my heart) thinking - - oh my lord, what will we do about my daughter's wedding? Then, after I'm all worked up in my mind about what we are going to do, he informs me that the good news is he was one of the sales reps that will not be losing his job in the company merger. Whew!

However, I told him if that little "fun" thing he did to me skewed my pre-op tests I'd get him. Looks like it just might have.

Up or down i dont know, all i know is that its very Snowy and i dont like snow anymore ..I`m ready for Spring! Thanks for your guys replies! I`ll be praying for you Renda! Well, my EKG showed that I had an anterior infarct or a heart attack. However, when I told my primary physician that they didn't ask me to take off my upper under garment before they place the little dodads, he said, well that's enough to mess up the reading.

So, he did another EKG in his office today (making his staff stay after 5:00) and the test was fine. No heart attack and I'm cleared for surgery.
