Re: Clothesline
We had a clothesline growing up even though we had a dryer as well. It saved on energy costs to hang the clothes outside to dry when the weather was nice. I remember seeing my mom running after the dog when he decided to nip and play with the sheets that were hanging low enough. I also have a very vivid memory of seeing my absolute favorite doll hanging on the line after mom had washed it. I couldn't wait for it to dry so I could have it back.
I wish I could have a clothesline, but alas, neighborhood restrictions forbid them.
