They also have in the plans putting another toll road going into Houston from the Mexico area. It has all the farmers and ranchers up in arms. They will be making a decision in the fall, as per Rick Perry.
King Ranch is furious and going to file a lawsuit as the property is historical.
One old rancher stood up in a recent meeting and said he would shoot anyone that tried to take his property from him. My husband said they just don't know what you come against when you have a Rancher and his gun! It's a pretty serious situation right now.

One other thing is the NAFTA highway which will go right through the State of Texas!
And you wonder why I don't trust politicians.
A big story up here is that both Obama & Clinton are talking about getting tough on Canada publicly while privately they are reassuring Canadian Politicians it is all rhetoric.
Rhetoric? We call it lying in Canada.
I don't begrudge thier stance one way or another-just don't lie about it.

Right! NAFTA is a big part of all of this. The man in your clip was right about one thing - Most of America is clueless except for the Texans. We are watching all of this. Don't know if we can do anything about it......

I guess to be fair, those noodles, if you can deal with them are a marvellous bit of food engineering. There's a lot of carbo energy densely packed there. If space is a concern, you can get a whole lot of calories packed away into a small space.

Thank you for your insight.. : Still don't think I can eat them again..!!!

Re: Are You Eliminating Debt/Backstocking Food?
I've been working on eliminating debt and being a better steward of what God has blessed me with..
not for some doomesday threat...but b/c it's what God commands us to do.
And if we are living like we should, God will take care of us if things should get bad. Not that it will be roses and sunshine, but God will provide as he sees fit.

What I find interesting is this, Americans aren't worried about jobs going north to Canada, but south to Mexico where labour is cheaper!
