We have our inconsistencies - yes. Since there is alot of bull in the cities... we make some exceptions.
On a more serious note... I met several Amishmen in Atlanta, getting educated, displaying wares and staying in the highrise hotels like everyone else. It is interesting to watch. I like to sit close to them and listen in on the Penn. Dutch for a while before introducing myself in their preferred language. They really light up then...

Re: AtlantaBishop & Stephen Hoover in ATL
Did anyone catch the full page spread of the amish fireplace in the USA Today last week? (Thurs of Fri, I can't remember.) The photo showed a snake oil looking salesman shaking hands with an amish guy. There were a number of amish people in the photo. Only one amish had enough conviction to turn his back. (wpf apologists take notice there are people with consistent convictions.)
The funniest part of the advertisement was a blurb that said the technology for the new fireplace came from China.
I found the ad amusing. I have no desire to buy an amish fireplace unless I move to Amish country.

Yep I saw it too! The miracle furnace is a small electric fireplace witha handmade Amish mantle. The wood may be a nice piece for $300. but the "fireplace" is a piece of junk and the only way it would give a miracle on the heat bill would be if you only heated the livingroom with it and turned off the heat to the rest of the house.
It was NOT an ad, but just an interesting story. The "snake oil" looking guy was from Underwriters Labortory and the interesting part was that the Amish went to the expense to get these Electric fireplaces/Mantels UL Listed when they themselves claim not to have electricity! The catch is.... they can have electricity in their place of business IF it is not off the power grid - they just crank up a generator!

Thanks Steve for the great lunch! I took him on a tour of ATL then had Starbucks. What a great guy!
Some of you did see my wife and I on TBN this past Tuesday night and yes - CeCe was the gracious host. I am looking forward to being with her at VICTORY CHURCH here in Stone Mt. in March.
I do appreciate the calls and IM's and Emails - but I have been much to busy to post on any site the past few months. Church Alive International has trippled in growth in the past few months and God is doing Great Things there so I have my hands full. Thank you for your prayers and concern. Bless you all.

So the thread in "The Tab" was correct, and CeCe will be singing at a homosexual church, and you are going to be there too.
